Quiche is a French tart consisting of a pastry crust filled with savoury custard and pieces of cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables. A well-known variant is quiche lorraine, which includes lardons or bacon. Quiche may be served hot, warm or cold.

Joseph Gatt The claim that Malta was "WWII’s most heavily bombed country" is something that we in Malta how grown up with. At best it's a play of words. I do not deny that Malta was heavily bombed, but being the most bombed country is taking it too far, I think, considering that many cities even larger than the whole of Malta, were practically razed to the ground in WWII. Cities like Dresden, Warsaw, Berlin and St Petersburg.I wonder, was Malta really bombed more than London? The United States had 90% of their B-29’s attacking Tokyo with over 1,700 tons of bombs (incendiary type) resulting in firestorms that destroyed 286,358 buildings and killed over 100,000 civilians, whilst the British dropped over 22,580 tons of bombs on Hamburg killing over 42,600 civilians. Not to mention the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
