Someone sent me this bit of nostalgia .... crazy date .... 25 Jan 1973, just over 50 years ago. I was almost 13 and I remember this song making #1. In those days, to keep abreast we would tune into Tommy Vance on Top 20 on BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Services) radio service. We didn't have colour TV back then.
