Quiche is a French tart consisting of a pastry crust filled with savoury custard and pieces of cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables. A well-known variant is quiche lorraine, which includes lardons or bacon. Quiche may be served hot, warm or cold.

May we wish Neil Agius well in his world record breaking attempt that is scheduled to begin at dawn today, which will see this brave athlete swim around Malta AND Gozo for a total of 160 kilometers in a swim that is expected to take three days of nonstop swimming to complete. The Brazilian surfer's index finger is raised, in a "Number One" gesture, as he hovers in midair. Just a moment prior, before dismounting from his surf board, he had raised all his ten fingers, in a signal to judges to award him a perfect 10. Some did just that, and Medina came away with a score of 9.90 that marked a new Olympic record for a single wave run. Surely an iconic moment that will be remembered for decades to come.
Crazy Town's 'Butterfly' was an early 2000s anthem, and in 2001 reached the number one spot in the US singles chart, and number three in the UK singles chart. The American rap rock band was founded in Los Angeles in 1995.
With regret we note the recent passing of Crazy Town's lead frontman, Seth Brooks Binzer, better known by his stage name Shifty Shellshock, who departed this Monday, 24 June 2024, at the rather young age of 49 years. The cause of death was not revealed, but it is known that he has struggled with drug addiction throughout his life. May he rest in peace.
