May 15th. 1954, Queen Elizabeth came to Malta to inaugurate Mater Admirabilis Teachers (female)Training College at tal-Virtu` Rabat, Malta. The street used to be Busketto Road but now it is has been changed to Dr. George Borg Oliver Street.
The balcony where there is the flag of the Union Jack, is my grandfather's.
The people in the balcony are all my relatives from my dad's side.
Joseph Gatt Just a small typo: Borg Oliv*ier* 🙂
Joseph Gatt Luckily it appears that, to this day, this street remains, for the most part, endowed with the traditional residential facades that once adorned Maltese streets. Additionally, in this street in Rabat we can also find Villa Luginsland (please see post: https://zafoid.com/post/view/10727).
