Blue sharks are sleek, fast-swimming sharks that lives in the open ocean all around the world. They are easily recognised by their deep blue back, long pointed snout, and slender body, which help them blend into the water and move efficiently over long distances. Blue sharks mainly feed on squid and small fish, are highly migratory, and are generally curious, but not dangerous, to humans. They are typically not aggressive toward humans, prefering to keep their distance, unless provoked or stimulated by fishing activity.
