An Asian swallowtail butterfly on a red spider lily, a late summer blooming perennial bulb native to Northeast Asia (such as China, Japan, Korea and Nepal) and even parts of Hawaii, typically found in shady, moist areas along slopes and rocky areas near stream banks.
