1. Detection of SARS-CoV-2 relied on Christian Drosten's version of Kary Mullis' Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR, or swab) test. It is well established that Drosten prepared it in a couple of weeks (by the end of January 2020). Govt's had to buy this. Low cost.
2. The recipe for the mRNA "vaccine" was also produced in a couple of weeks. (it was production that took long). Since they used an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) loophole, they are not bound to test extensively. Normal vaccines take 7 to 12 years testing for safety. Low cost.
3. All Gov'ts that are signed up to the WHO's governance in time of pandemic, are bound to react the moment a Pandemic is called (BTW it was also called in 2009 H1N1 [Swine Flu] fake pandemic, but the vaccine had to be recalled after 50 deaths, so Govts were forced to stockpile on Tamiflu instead). What could be better, Pharma sells directly to the Govt. Guaranteed payment!
4. Indemnity! Thanks to the agreements signed by the US Gov't in 1985, and a likewise one with the EU (I have no date for this). Pharma are protected from being sued and all damages from potential law suits are covered by the respective authorities. Pharma can be sued in some other countries which is why you see them threading softly there. Low cost.
Not surprisingly, 2021 and 2022 were bumper years for Pfizer, BioNTech, ModeRNA, AstraZenica, Jansen (J&J).
