Further to my post dated 14th March this year (zafoid.com/post/view/11833) regarding President Trump's lavish restyling of the Oval Office at the White House with gilded gold, it appears that the gold quotient has increased further since then. The images here below show the Oval Office on July 9, 2025, with President Trump hosting President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania in front of the fireplace, and it turns out that there is even more gold! There are more gilded picture frames, more cartouches (including one on each side of the grandfather clock, as well as under the picture frames), and the golden decorative items on the fireplace mantle have increased to nine, including a very ornate clock. What's going to be next?

With a heavy heart we note the unexpected death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who rose to fame as a child actor in the 1980s in the role of Theodore Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” which ran from 1984 to 1992. Warner died at age 54 in an accidental drowning in Costa Rica, where he was on vacation with his family. Warner was swimming at Playa Grande in the town of Cocles in the province of Limón on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica around 2:30 p.m. local time Sunday, when a current pulled him deeper into the ocean, according to the Associated Press. May he rest in peace.
