Identity Malta's Customer Care Portal simply does not function at all!
When registering for an account, the Portal omits to ask for a password, but then to access one's support ticket a password (which is non-existent, as the user never gets a chance to submit one) is requested. The result is that the support ticket remains inaccessible!
The Portal's "Forgot your password?" feature also does not work, as rather than sending an email authorising a change of password, instead the following error message is displayed: "You are not authorised to access this portal. Kindly contact your helpdesk administrator." !!
So the poor public have no means of access either way. This notwithstanding that the Portal assures that:
"Once you sign up, you will have complete access to our self service portal and you can use your account to raise support tickets and track their status." !!
Is there something that actually works in this country? Imbagħad jgħidulna li l-istutizzjonijiet qed jaħdmu!
