A cornerstone of US President Biden's agenda, the Infrastructure Bill, finally passed last Friday, 5th November. In the end, six House Democrats broke ranks with their party and voted against the bill: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York), Ilhan Omar (Minnesota), Rashida Tlaib (Michigan), Jamaal Bowman (New York), Cori Bush (Missouri), and Ayanna Pressley (Massachusetts).



On the other hand, no less than 32 federal legislators went directly against the wishes of their leader, Donald Trump, and voted in favour of the Infrastructure Bill, whilst another Republican Senator Mike Rounds (South Dakota) did not vote. The said 32 Republicans legislators are comprised of 19 Senators, and 13 Representatives. The Senators are:
